Jane Miller Brennan

Jane M. Brennan is a dedicated, knowledgeable attorney who will provide sound legal advice, support and guidance throughout your family law case. Jane learned how to manage cases while with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, prosecuting cases of domestic violence and misdemeanor sex abuse, as well as honing her legal argument skills before the Illinois Appellate Court and the Illinois Supreme Court.

Jane later joined the Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office to run the Abuse and Neglect courtroom, protecting the children of Kane County. Taking the skills gained as a prosecutor, Jane began practicing family law in 2013, training as both a mediator and as a guardian ad litem, as she continued to consider the needs of children a priority, especially during the turbulent process of a divorce or post-decree matter.

As stated by a former client in his review, “Jane was a pleasure to work with during a difficult time. The level of communication she provided during the entire process along with her advocacy for me was unparalleled.”

Jane earned her Juris Doctorate from Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, Georgia, pursuant to an academic scholarship. She has three amazing daughters, who she guided through her own divorce and loves nothing better than spending time with family and friends.
